Other services upload your recordings to their servers. With Stillscript, your own computer does the work. That's why we can't see, store or share your interviews, even if we wanted to.

FAQ
The free plan includes 60 minutes of transcription per month, no sign-up. That's enough to try a full interview. If you need more, or Pro features like speaker detection and de-identification, you'll be able to get the Pro Pass for 3 months or a Pro subscription. During the test phase there's no limit yet.
Very accurate with clear speech. In our test with five minutes of a lecture, we counted four to five errors. Accents, echo or a poor microphone mean more errors. You fix them right in the text.
Yes, in a light mode for short recordings. It's slower and less accurate. For long interviews, use a laptop or desktop.
Your participants need to consent to being recorded. Because Stillscript processes everything on your computer, no third-party transcription service ever gets the audio. Check with your IRB or ethics committee what your consent form and data plan need to say.
